Walking Dead Episode 102

The second episode of the Walking Dead was very good. The previous episode left the viewer on a cliff hanger, with Rick inside of a tank and an unknown voice talking to him. One of the themes was identity. In the first 20 minutes of the episode, Dixon calls T-Dog a n*****, then they get into a fight based on T-Dog’s identity as a black man. The next bit of identity in the episode was when Rick looked in a dead zombie’s wallet and read his name, age and saw his girlfriend, showing us that the zombie once had identity. The third incident regarding identity is when Rick and Glen cover themselves in zombie guts to hide their identity as humans. When it rains, it washes off the guts, giving them somewhat of a rebirth back into humans.
